More Training Delivered
I seem to have been busy!
On Saturday I attended the National Nightline Conference, and gave two, hour long talks and took questions from the audience of trained Phone Listeners.
My fellow LifeSIGNS Directors, Danny and Zoe also attended by chance, and so I was delivering training under their watchful eyes!
Then today, Monday, I delivered training to Medical Students at a Teaching Hospital.
All three of my SI Awareness talks provoked emotional reactions, and as challenging as learning about self injury is, I accept that it can be distressing to hear about; sometimes it can be depressing, but through training, general awareness and the excellent services that are provided by these Listeners and Medical people, I have faith that their is hope for the future.
It is my privilidge to be a part of the improved awareness about self injury.
For further Training details, see the LifeSIGNS Training Brochure.
